Cadbury winners let loose the joy!

Cadbury Dairy Milk has brought joy to over 42 lucky winners as part of their “Let loose the Joy” promotion. With a total of R500 000 in “Joy Vouchers” up for grabs, a grand prize holiday worth R250 000 and still a few weeks to go until the end of the campaign, winners are really enjoying their mid-year bonus!

The on-pack promotion invited consumers to ‘Let loose the joy’ and claim Joy Vouchers by entering a unique code on specially marked Cadbury Dairy Milk packs. The campaign was spearheaded by the hugely popular ‘Balloons’ television commercial which captures a shared moment of joy.

For Shalati Thembi Mandlana from the Eastern Cape, the vouchers couldn’t have come at a better time and she hasn’t stopped smiling, “Besides spoiling myself with my shopping vouchers I was also able to buy something for my sons. I love Cadbury Dairy Milk, I just can’t get enough!”

Elizabeth Morabe from Sebokeng in Gauteng redeemed her Experience Voucher for Pick n Pay vouchers to the value of R1000 and Edgars vouchers to the value of R3000.

In line with spreading the joy, two of the winners have given their prizes to their families. Lorraine Bothma from Randfontein, who won an experience voucher for a holiday at Hornbill Lodge in the Magaliesburg, decided her parents deserved a holiday and so transferred the voucher to them. Justin Moodliar from Port Shepstone in Kwa-Zulu Natal felt that since his sister’s birthday was in July, his voucher for a full day spa treatment at Mangwanani Spa would be a great present for her.

Natalie Keulemansfrom St Francis Bay in the Eastern Cape was treated to a much needed weekend away with her partner Marica in Graaf Reinett at the Avondrust Guest House. Included as part of their package, the couple explored the Valley of Desolation and did some game spotting in the Camdeboo National Park.

“I would like to thank Cadbury for making such an effort for a truly joyous experience.”

Lwazi Tatyane from East London redeemed his experience voucher for the ultimate air adventure in a hot air balloon over Heia Safari Ranch, Lake Heritage and the Cradle of Human Kind in Gauteng with his friend Tando Gqamane. The prize included an hour-long flight, champagne and a delicious breakfast at the ranch.

“I truly had an amazing time being on a hot air balloon. It was my first time ever! Events such as these will always remain in one's memory, therefore thank you Cadbury and everyone who made the experience possible.”

Nontobeko Maphalana from Umlazi felt really spoilt with her 2 night stay at the charismatic Fairmont

Zimbali Lodge in Kwa-Zulu Natal. Included in her joy experience was dinner & breakfast for two at the celebrated Thandi Restaurant as well as a Sunset Glow Spa treatment for her and her partner.

“It was the first time I experienced such luxury and it was so romantic! I was treated like a queen, thank you Cadbury.”

Thrilled with her Premium Joy Voucher, Colleen de Jongh from Cape Town was able to, among other things, select beautiful patio furniture set for her new home. She says it all in her poem below:

Have you ever experienced the ‘Joy’?

I’m talking about the CADBURY’S Premium ‘Joy’,
It’s a Glass & A Half of ‘Oh! Boy’!

But you have to buy a slab of the Best,
And Put Prize Vouchers to the Test,
When they ‘phone you – they do the rest!
I had no idea what I’d Won,Naseemah said – ‘Don’t sweat’
Whatever it is, it will be Done.
Choose from a weekend of Fun,
Or Shopping Vouchers – quite a Ton !

A Patio Set was just the thing,
Again, Naseemah said – ‘No problem’ – we will ring,
Imagine, still having Vouchers over, for a Shopping fling?
Thank You CADBURY’S for All This Bling!
And the Prize Voucher ladies,
Naseemah, Tarryn & Irene, who organized things.
